Highlight of the week.

What do you get when you work smack in the middle of a community for emerging artists?

Installation pieces!

Meet the red bubble people.

They walk on water in the Fort Point Channel.
I like them very much. I hope they stay for a while.
They distract from all the crap construction on my way to work.

Sleep tight, red bubble people.

That nay be considered art but some, but not me. They look ridiculous, but I'm sure it's funny as hell to watch.

What's funny as hell to watch are people's faces as they pass them by for the first time! They only just recently put up a sign with a name for the piece. And it's really small and hard to spot. So people don't know what to think about these bubble folk. - The Boston Children's Museum is nearby, is it part of that? Nah, too creepy. Is it some kind of deeply thought-out war protest? Perhaps. Who knows? But hell, it's better than looking at all the cranes and tractors in our area.
